Compact shape, quiet on the wall

Soft light for an evening room

Leaves the surface below free

The Astra Wall Light is a modern wall light built around one idea: quiet detail that earns its place. It brings shape and warmth to a living room without shouting for attention. Clean lines and honest materials do the work, so it reads as considered rather than fussy. It is the kind of piece you stop noticing in the best way, because it simply fits. The proportions were chosen to sit comfortably alongside furniture you already own rather than competing with it.

Construction is where wall lights often disappoint, and this one does not. Materials are chosen for how they wear rather than how they photograph, and the finish is even from edge to edge. The detailing is deliberately restrained, with nothing added that does not earn it. Everything is assembled to a spec we would accept in our own homes, then packed to survive the journey to yours.

At home it works hardest in the living room, though it moves happily to a bedroom when the space changes around it. Pair it with warm textiles and open shelving for a softer look, or keep the surrounding palette tight for something sharper. Halden designs for rooms that get lived in, not photographed once and forgotten.

Small, and that is the point

Not every wall needs a statement. The Astra gives a corner light without becoming the thing you notice first about the room.

Warm rather than bright

It is built for the hours after the ceiling light goes off, giving a wall a soft glow rather than lighting the whole room.

Living room or bedroom

Beside a bed, a sofa or along a hall. Halden designs for rooms that get lived in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it small?

Deliberately. It gives a corner light without becoming the first thing you notice about the wall.

Is it bright enough to read by?

It is built for atmosphere rather than task work. Pair it with something aimable if you read there.

Why a wall light rather than a lamp?

It hands back the surface underneath, which is usually worth more than the lamp base sitting on it.

Which rooms suit it?

Living rooms and bedrooms, and a pair works well either side of a bed.

How do I clean it?

Soft dry cloth, no abrasive cleaners.
