Bear form that still works as a table

Flat top for a cup and a book

Moves easily between rooms

The Cartoon Bear Side Table is a modern side table built around one idea: quiet detail that earns its place. It brings shape and warmth to a living room without shouting for attention. Clean lines and honest materials do the work, so it reads as considered rather than fussy. It is the kind of piece you stop noticing in the best way, because it simply fits. Wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth now and then and it will hold its finish for years.

Construction is where side tables often disappoint, and this one does not. Materials are chosen for how they wear rather than how they photograph, and the finish is even from edge to edge. The detailing is deliberately restrained, with nothing added that does not earn it. Everything is assembled to a spec we would accept in our own homes, then packed to survive the journey to yours.

At home it works hardest in the living room, though it moves happily to a bedroom when the space changes around it. Pair it with warm textiles and open shelving for a softer look, or keep the surrounding palette tight for something sharper. Halden designs for rooms that get lived in, not photographed once and forgotten.

Furniture with a sense of humour

The bear shape gives a plain living room one thing that is not serious. It still holds a coffee, a lamp or a stack of books.

A usable surface, not a sculpture

The top is flat and stable, which is the part novelty furniture usually gets wrong. It works beside a sofa or a bed.

Light enough to move

Pull it over when you need a surface and push it back when you do not. Halden designs for rooms that get lived in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it actually usable as a table?

Yes. The top is flat and stable enough for a drink, a lamp or a pile of books, which is what separates it from an ornament.

Is it too playful for a grown up room?

It is the one light hearted thing in an otherwise plain room, which is usually exactly what a living room is missing.

Can I move it around easily?

Yes. It is light enough to pull over beside the sofa when you need the surface and push back out of the way after.

Would it suit a child's room?

It works well there, and it is designed cleanly enough that it does not have to leave when the child grows up.

How do I clean it?

Wipe it with a soft dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners.
