Black outside, gold inside the shade

IP65 rated, handles damp and weather

Efficient LED, low running cost

The Modern Black & Gold Wall Light is a modern wall light built around one idea: quiet detail that earns its place. It brings shape and warmth to a living room without shouting for attention. Clean lines and honest materials do the work, so it reads as considered rather than fussy. It is the kind of piece you stop noticing in the best way, because it simply fits.

Construction is where wall lights often disappoint, and this one does not. Materials are chosen for how they wear rather than how they photograph, and the finish is even from edge to edge. Key details include IP65 weather resistance, energy-efficient LED. Everything is assembled to a spec we would accept in our own homes, then packed to survive the journey to yours.

At home it works hardest in the living room, though it moves happily to a bedroom when the space changes around it. Pair it with warm textiles and open shelving for a softer look, or keep the surrounding palette tight for something sharper. Halden designs for rooms that get lived in, not photographed once and forgotten. Rated for outdoor use. Have mains wired fixtures installed by a qualified electrician and confirm the seal is intact before switching on.

The gold is where the light is

Black on the outside keeps the fitting quiet on the wall. The gold interior warms the light on its way out, so you see the effect rather than the finish.

Rated for weather

IP65 means damp and splashes are not a problem, so it can go outside a door or in a bathroom as readily as a living room.

Inside or out

Few fittings work in both places without looking wrong in one. Halden designs for rooms that get lived in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why black outside and gold inside?
