Soft macaron form, no hard edges

Anodised aluminium, even colour

Flush fit for a normal ceiling

The Nordic Macaron Ceiling Light is a Scandinavian ceiling light built around one idea: quiet detail that earns its place. Finished in anodised aluminium, it brings shape and warmth to a living room without shouting for attention. The silhouette borrows from modern design, with clean lines, honest materials and nothing decorative that is not also useful. It is the kind of piece you stop noticing in the best way, because it simply fits. Wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth now and then and it will hold its finish for years.

Construction is where ceiling lights often disappoint, and this one does not. Anodised aluminium is used where it matters, joined and finished so edges stay true and surfaces stay flat. The detailing is deliberately restrained, with nothing added that does not earn it. Everything is assembled to a spec we would accept in our own homes, then packed to survive the journey to yours.

At home it works hardest in the living room, though it moves happily to a bedroom when the space changes around it. Pair it with warm textiles and open shelving for a softer look, or keep the surrounding palette tight for something sharper. Halden designs for rooms that get lived in, not photographed once and forgotten.

Rounded, not another flat disc

The gentle dome gives the ceiling a shape rather than a circle of plastic. It reads as a small piece of design from directly below.

Anodised, so the colour holds

Anodised aluminium keeps its finish evenly across the whole surface, which is what stops a coloured fitting looking cheap up close.

Living room or bedroom

It sits close to the ceiling, so low rooms and landings are fine. Halden designs for rooms that get lived in.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is anodised aluminium?

Aluminium with a hardened surface finish, which holds its colour evenly and resists marking better than paint.

Will it fit a low ceiling?

Yes. It mounts close to the ceiling, so it works on a landing or in a lower bedroom.

Is the shape too soft for a modern room?

A rounded fitting is often what a room of straight lines needs. It softens the ceiling without adding clutter.

Is the light even?

The dome spreads it outward as well as down, so the room fills rather than lighting one bright patch.

How do I clean it?

Soft dry cloth, no abrasive cleaners.
