Clean disc that disappears into the ceiling

Efficient LED for everyday use

Flush fit, no headroom lost

The Solon LED Ceiling Light is a Scandinavian ceiling light built around one idea: quiet detail that earns its place. It brings shape and warmth to a living room without shouting for attention. The silhouette borrows from modern design, with clean lines, honest materials and nothing decorative that is not also useful. It is the kind of piece you stop noticing in the best way, because it simply fits. Small variations in grain and tone are a normal part of natural materials and no two pieces are ever quite identical.

Construction is where ceiling lights often disappoint, and this one does not. Materials are chosen for how they wear rather than how they photograph, and the finish is even from edge to edge. Key details include energy-efficient LED. Everything is assembled to a spec we would accept in our own homes, then packed to survive the journey to yours.

At home it works hardest in the living room, though it moves happily to a bedroom when the space changes around it. Pair it with warm textiles and open shelving for a softer look, or keep the surrounding palette tight for something sharper. Halden designs for rooms that get lived in, not photographed once and forgotten.

The light you stop noticing

A main ceiling light should do its job and get out of the way. The Solon is plain enough that the room reads as the room, not as the fitting.

Efficient enough for daily use

It goes on every evening, so the running cost matters more here than on any decorative piece. The LED keeps it low.

Living room or bedroom

Flush mounted, so low ceilings and landings are fine. Halden designs for rooms that get lived in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it fit a low ceiling?

Yes. It mounts flush, so it takes no usable headroom and suits landings and lower bedrooms.

Is the light even?

The diffuser spreads it across the whole face, so the room fills without a bright centre overhead.

Is it cheap to run?

Yes. The LED is energy efficient, which is what you want from the light that goes on every evening.

Is it too plain?

Plain is the intention. A main light that stays quiet lets the rest of the room do the talking.

How do I clean it?

Soft dry cloth over the face when dust settles, no abrasive cleaners.
